Michael Osterholm told that he has been against general and particular vaccines for several years yet he is still using it just because it is the best solution available today. But the benefits of this vaccine are being overstated, for elder people it may not be as effective as it is for younger. There is no surprise that this vaccine is offered for free on The NHS in the United Kingdom. It is free for all those patients who relate to a certain age group, generally over 40s and 50s, who are suffering from severe illness like asthma and arthritis. In addition, it is also free for pregnant women. Health protection agency’s medical records show an increase in the shot of flu this winter. More than 61 per cent of over-60s are suffering from chronic sickness associated with the winter. The effects of flu vaccine are unknown.
