Modern Gym Equipment like Kettlebells and the ViPR Could Outmuscle Traditional Workouts

Traditional workouts like the bench press are still going strong inside the modern gym but revolutionary equipment like the ViPR are offering much more value for effort.  MMA popularity is at an all time high and the intense training fighters go through is being replicated by regular fitness fanatics worldwide.

The ViPR was created by Olympian trainer and advisor Michael Dalcourt, out of the desire to combine strength training with fitness training.  It is a hollow rubber tube with a length just exceeding the average arm span.  It comes with gripping handles and in a variety of weights.

There are over 9,000 different exercises one can execute using just a single ViPR.  Trainers aim to incorporate multiple exercises in one session, with little time for breaks in between.  The intensity of the routine dramatically improves strength, conditioning and fitness for a lot of different muscles.

The universal approach to exercising is particularly popular with people who want to gain maximum results while spending minimum time in the gym.  Entire body workouts can be much more painful (in a good way) instead of isolating singular muscle groups.

Another workout modernism invading gyms worldwide is the kettlebell – an adaptation of the conventional dumbbell.  Similar to the ViPR, kettlebells can be used for a diverse range of exercises and are ideal for whole body exercising.

These also come in a variety of different weights and as is the case with all free weights – using these can strengthen the smaller, support muscles which could otherwise be excluded by machine exercising.

The modern kettlebell has been perfected to reduce injury and maximise results.  Although the original idea for the apparatus can be traced back as far as the 1700s – contemporary kettlebells are designed in conjunction with new, innovative exercises.

The best way for people to familiarise themselves with specialist exercises is to learn from a personal trainer.  Suppleness, technique and assisted training are all key to gaining optimum results with modern equipment – perhaps more importantly, they are key to avoiding injury.

Once mastered, kettlebells and the ViPR can become effective workout tools to adopt regularly.  The popularity of kit like this is largely down to the exposure of extreme training in MMA Hollywood movies, televised cage fighting/training and ultimately – how much fun they are compared to tedious bench workouts.

It is difficult to determine whether full body exercising will eventually outweigh long-established muscle isolation techniques but leisure clubs across the world are definitely recognising the demand for pioneering apparatus just like the ViPR and kettlebell.  More people now take advantage of cutting edge clubs offering a free gym pass and use that trial to experiment with modern equipment before switching their fitness regime completely, to total body workouts.

Furthermore, if you really want to understand the importance of fitness why not consider a health care management degree online so you can learn the proper way to take care of yourself and others.
