Alternative names for men's tackle - Lloydspharmacy tool aims to get men talking about the unmentionables

I Call Mine ImageLloydspharmacy have done some research on men’s health and they’re increasingly concerned that men have difficulties talking about their intimate health issues with a doctor. So they’ve developed an interactive map to show which words are being used by UK men to describe their ‘chaps’ in order to encourage men not to be embarrassed when it comes to problems down below.

The ‘I call mine’ campaign is designed to get men talking about their tackle as the research also showed that of men who’ve seen a doctor about an issue down below, 42% have delayed their visit – and when they do finally go, nearly half (47%) are excruciatingly embarrassed about it. And more than one in ten (12%) of UK males have avoided seeing their GP altogether about a problem with their privates.

The map can be found at www.icallmine.co.uk. Enjoy!
